Surprisingly surprised by quality of sushi considering its price. Didn't have much expectation going in but walked out wanting to go back for sushi again. Pork katsu was bad tho. ..dry and bad oil taste. Would go back for sushi only tho. Hope they can perform consistently on sushi.

We like this place for lunch. Good sushi. I never tried the kitchen dishes. It's a comfortable place for all ages, singles, families, friends. The service is pretty fast, making it fun to explore the offerings at your pace. All very fresh and made to order. Their rice is excellent.

One of the best places to stop at on the Post road. All you can eat sushi for a flat price?! And it's good?! Crazy!

Sat at sushi bar.. food was really good. Although the waitress thought we were there for the all you can eat. So no description of what we should do to order for buffet or not. But after asking, they explained. Great place

Their customer service is horrible and sushi is okay and not worth the money. My son didn’t like his noodles. We ask the waitress can we replace it with fried rice. The waitress and the manager said we can’t send the noodle back cause they already cook it and I have to be charge for it. They told me I could order something else but I would have to be charge for that as well. My son ended up not eating because he didn’t like sushi. So we end up leaving after paying for a large bill. My daughter, husband, and I tried the noodle and it was not good. I have never been to a restaurant where I was force to pay for a meal I didn’t like. Sushi is okay. It’s not worth the money. I had better sushi in Connecticut. Seriously go some where else’s and you will get better food and service.

The sushi here is great! It’s so delicious and fresh all the time. The all you can eat price is fair and definitely worth it, especially if you’re feeling hungry. They do charge regular price for left overs if you leave food though so make sure you clean your plate (it won’t be hard)!

As a picky eater and for my first time eating sushi, it was a rather pleasant place to eat with friends. A lot of different choices both for the picky and the comfortable.

This is my go to spot for sushi in the orange/Milford area. Always packed and the food is always fresh. I never have to wait too long and the wait between orders is always fast. Highly recommended

This was my first time visiting this branch, My go to is their Hamden location which is easily 5+ stars...while the restaurant its self is nice and inviting and larger and located very conveniently on route 1 with plenty of parking...it fails on the most important factor...the food not going to accept it as a bad day for them but everything I ordered was mediocre at best and to top it off they drowned it all in sauce to basically ruin it all the more...it all came off as amateur sushi chefs giving it a shot... Wait staff are nice but not very good at their job not once did they come around to top off my green tea or offer to refill anyone's drinks... So I'm sorry I can't recommend this location at this time... I was say skip it and spend the extra 10 to 15 min and experience one of the best CT has to offer Sushi Palace in Hamden! Final rating is 3 1/2 Stars

At the moment you step in this place the stuff gives you an excellent feeling. Very friendly hosts, it is a happy place to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date. very good cooking, talented chief cook and stuff, modest cost and professional service. Warmly recommended.

The first time I went to sushi palace they only brought me the all you can eat paper one time and then brought me the check I was not ready to leave. I went there today again because I was in love with their sushi. It is very good and you have good options for appetizers. Crab meat salad is delicious it's not the one you find at the store. The staff was very friendly especially with my son.

Best sushi place ever, the service very good, waitress are very courteous, not need to wait for a long time for the food, my family and I love to order from the kitcken and sushi bar. I highly recommend this place. Can't wait for them to open again... miss you a lot Sushi Palace!!!❤😊

Amazing place to get sushi and other tasty food

I've been to a few all you can eat sushi places. The food here tastes fresher and it's convenient to get to.

One of my preferred place to eat Sushi.Clean, good price. Love the service. Is fast. Offer dessert at the end. The bathrooms its clean. If you want a good sushi, soups, appetizers... come and try...

Don’t come this place (Orange CT). Go to Hamden location. They put way too much rice and small piece of fish on their sushi. Either they do that on purpose or they don’t know how to make sushi! Trust me go to Hamden location!

Sushi Palace is a pleasant experience. I've been here a couple times. The sushi is all you can eat buffet style. The service was fast and the restaurant is often packed during the night. The sushi is good, but I didn't find it outstanding. The price is roughly $25 per person, unless you order drinks besides water or hot tea.

Good for all you can eat

This restaurant is absolutely disgusting. The sushi is poor poor quality. The seaweed was extremely chewy and my sister and I both choked on it. At this point we both stopped eating the rest of our food. I eat sushi once a week from several different places and never had this problem. When the staff asked why we didn’t finish we kindly told them. The manager came over and apologized and then sent the bill to our table. He charged us full price and was very rude telling us that no one else had this problem. Needless to say. I will never be returning to this sushi place, and I will tell my family and friends the same. The customer service is awful and so is the sushi.

Amazing! Staff is wonderful and very attentive! Food is really yummy. You can't beat the all you can eat sushi. Easy to find location and they have good parking.

I went on a Sunday for the buffet, bill was about $25 with a soda. The sushi was amazing. I cant wait to go back.

This is a great all you can sushi place. Very good selection, and overall quite good sushi. In fact, I enjoy their non-such dishes just as much (grilled shrimp sticks, chicken "kabob" sticks, tofu, edamame, etc.) Please note that this is not fancy sushi or expensive sushi or super quality fish sushi; this is tasty and decent sushi that is all you can eat, so the real strong point of this place is the price to performance ratio which is quite good. On a weekend, the staff are quite busy and sometimes do not notice you unless you wave vigorously.

Sushi is all you can eat for like ~$25 and much higher quality than you'd expect from an all you can eat place. Wait staff is fine but most nights I've been there they seem like they're a bit overwhelmed. Sushi Palace is definitely the favorite Sushi place of my friends, 4 yeehaws out of 5.

This is the second time I have been there and continue to be impressed.. such a lovely courteous staff.. I was there for take out and order was prompt and the food was crisp light and delicious.. I recommend this to everyone.. inside had a great presentation.. you will get quality offerings here and the service is top notch.. they aim to please . Take this review first.. the parking lot is spacious and very safe.. sooo check it out for a great dinning experience..😀😎

Unlimited quality sushi for a reasonable rate, what else could you ask for? So much variety to choose from. I recommend this location to friends. End you meal with unlimited ice cream!

I visit this lovely spot often! This is my favorite restaurant to eat. I visit this place routinely. The food is fantastic, the crew is courteous and the rates are decent. I enjoy eating in this place to have a nice dinner.

Excellent food and service. It's the only place I have sushi. They spoil you. Others cannot come close. Everything is so fresh and clean. You cannot beat their prices.

I typically do not write reviews and this is the second review I have ever written. This was my second time at this restaurant and I came here recently and had a very pleasant experience the first time. Today when I came back with my mom to show her how great it was I had a horrible experience. We were forgotten about and we waited for two hours to get our food. Very unfriendly waitstaff. Subpar food compared with the first experience. Incredibly disappointing
